The Energy Trading Platform is designed for wholesale natural gas trades, being Firm, Interruptible and Imbalance Trades. Membership is open to all buyers and sellers of gas in Western Australia along any major gas transmission line.

Energy Trading Platform Firm and Interruptible trades can be for any period from 1 to 90 days. Longer term trades are also accommodated, though the focus on the ETP’s commercial documents is on short to medium term transactions.

Imbalances are traded on a daily basis.
